The moon moves off its orbit and is heading towards earth and only a disgraced astronaut, his ex-girlfriend and a man who thinks the moon is artificial can save the world. The plot is a mixture of disaster film, science fiction, alien invasion and conspiracy theory. There are a few good scenes but it all gets a bit lost when going into the moon being built by our ancient ancestors and being destroyed by a swarm of AI machines. It also suffers because many of the scenes seem to copies of lots of differnt older sci-fi films, so the whole thing seems to lack much in the way of orginality. It had a big budget and plenty of effects
